- reread journal, underlining a poignant (define), striking, interesting line
- say line in head, visualizing voice, facial features, tone, etc.
- say line out loud (everyone at once), practice hearing voice
- POPCORN read

- intro to descriptive language (it's THAT kind of month!)
- read "Ghost Story" in groups, underlining descr. language
- write descriptive language on the back
