I.  TEXTBOOK FINGERWALK
-  review Tuesday's work and complete
- paying attention to format of textbook
- HA Textbook, Unit 1, Ch1, pp.  6-17
- walk through/model format of textbook chapters

* purpose is to focus on understanding how chapters are organized to quickly find information while 
* finish at home, if you do not get it all done in class.  Will be taped into SS Spiral Notebooks.
* why this is important?  There is actually a GREAT deal of information you can glean (pick up) by skimming subheadings, captions, boldface terms and knowing where textbooks put certain kinds of information every chapter.

II.  LEGACY OF ROMAN EMPIRE
- Read History Alive, Ch. 1, pp. 6-17
- Complete Frame of Subheadings and bullet facts
* will not complete in class.  Some completion must be done at home.
