WHITE BIRD DANCE FIELD TRIP @ THE SCHNITZER

Focus of piano recital and Whitebird dance ("complexions") is PERSONAL EXPRESSION.


Wednesday, April 7 - Whitebird dance performance at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall
* please remember our talks of field trip behavior, as well as appropriate behavior at cultural events such as this
* if you do not intend to enjoy the school's sack lunches, please remember to bring your own lunch
**  Transit gave use the wrong load time, so we will not be able to eat lunch at school before leaving

9:15 to 9:20 Send 6th, 7th, 8th graders that want sack lunches down to cafeteria to pick them up
9:45 Load buses
10:00 Leave school
10:30 Arrive downtown and park and enjoy sack lunches on the bus with our children
11:00 to 12:00 performance
12:30 back at school


(Transportation tells us "the whole city" is going to this performance and so the Whitebird people want us there at least a half hour before the show. Also, Transportation is telling bus drivers to let kids eat on the buses for this field trip only but we are responsible for clean-up.

Electronics are okay on the bus only.  NO ELECTRONICS ON OR VISIBLE THE MOMENT WE OFFLOAD THE BUS.
No electronics on the walk back to the bus.

Remember no food/beverages/gum inside the concert hall, and electronics must be turned off inside the concert hall.
