that could be looked up to help you better understand
the novel's historical background.
- Historical character's, types of people, things, places, materials, etc.
* any topic word you could look up online or in an encyclopedia


II. complete STATE READING TEST
- When finished work quietly on pre-set assignments:
- finish Illuminated letter and/or finish MA 5-Paragraph Essay
- Research one of topics from in class novel (page of facts)
- Find map of area/country/region place of novel's setting;
draw map on back of in class novel notes
